Good community colleges in east coast?
It's important to note that in the U.S., the term "college" is not used the same way that it is in other countries; it is not a designation of a 2-year school. It is usually a designation for 4-year schools that do not offer many (or in some cases any) advanced graduate degrees, as opposed to a university, which typically offers many undergraduate and graduate degrees. When researching schools, be sure to search for schools that specifically have "community college" in their title. Community colleges are most often feeder schools to larger public institutions ("state schools"). Although it's not impossible, many private institutions limit or do not accept transfers from community colleges. I'm not sure about the specifics of the schools you listed, but since all three of them are private institutions, they typically would take less transfer students than public schools in NYC, Boston, or Philadelphia.
