Potty learning my 3 and a half yr old.?

i feel some of these answers are rude. potty traing or potty learning. is a hard process. its different for every child and every parent. My little girl was about 2 when she started learning and didnt fully get it till she was 3. i beleive pull ups are a waste of money. My child thought of them as a diaper and kept using the potty in her pull up. i just put her in panties. she would pee on herself about 5 times and realize she didnt like that feeling so she would start running to the potty. we had a potty that would play a song when u used it. this excited her. now pooping was hard. she refused to go to the potty. but she pooped on herself a few times and after a few times of having to take a bath she learned to use the potty. Now sometimes she would just be lazy and not want to go. then she would get time out. because she want not using the toilet because she didnt know how she was just testing us. we did give her a "potty prize" when she used the potty. this made her run to the potty then ask for her potty prize. i say good luck to you and i hope u find a way that suits you and your child.
