Do you think the government doesnt want weed legalized because..?

because when people smoke weed they have an altered perception and are able to see through the government's illusions? also because people wouldn't be needing alot of prescription medication anymore because then they can just medicate using their own weed they grow from home? and so pharmaceutical companies would lose money because marijuana is a handy medicine that can be smoked, vaporized, baked in food, or put into a tea.
