If Non cristian music is bad?

well iam goin to cristian church and there tell me that world music or seculray music is bad to hear ......i listen to like eminem and some other stuff like spm and i want to know if its a sin to listen to it and the music does not get to me and i want to know if its a sin so plez reply back cuz i want to know if its bad
